World class Businessman, Investor and one of the world’s leading offshore production expert, Engineer Dr. Babajide Ademola Agunbiade, Atobase of Yoruba Land has commended the Fiditians both home and diaspora for pledging their support and throwing their weight behind the monarch. In an announcement via his Facebook page ‘’I want to commend all Fiditians for their unwavering support for our King, His Royal Majesty, Alayeluwa, Oba Sakiru Oyewole Adekola-Oyelere, Ajanni Èédú II, Agbadewolu I, OniFiditi of Fiditi.’’ He said
According to Engr. Dr. Agunbiade “It is usual for any society to face challenges; what matters is how we respond. I can assure you that we are mobilizing all resources and leaving no stone unturned to fight for the survival of our town. We are glad that OniFiditi has appealed the frivolous case against him.”
Agunbiade noted that Fiditi is blessed with progressive minded thinkers and intellectuals and they won’t allow be to drawn backward for selfish interest of some greedy people. He also pray fervently for the Monarch.

Dr. Agunbiade is a Director of Houston-based National Oilwell Varco, the largest oilfield equipment manufacturing company in the world and also the Founder/President of the Jide Agunbiade Foundation, with the objectives of empowering the needy with primary healthcare, access to basic education and community development. The Foundation has donated and completed several projects around the world, especially in his hometown of Fiditi, Oyo State.
