PDP chieftain, Alhaja Wule Ibitoye felicitates Olakulehin on coronation, commends Makinde for promoting culture and tradition

The Oyo State Women Leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaja Wule Ibitoye  has congratulated Oba Owolabi Olakulehin on his coronation as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland.

She rejoiced with Oba Olakulehin on his coronation and presentation of staff of office by Oyo Governor Seyi Makinde.

In a statement from her media office,  Alhaja Wule Ibitoye expressed conviction that Oba Olakulehin is fitted for the Olubadan throne at this period of time

She said: “I have the assurance that the new Olubadan, Oba Olakulehin will sustain the tempo of growth and development in Ibadanland.”

She applauded the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde for his interest and support for the growth of culture and tradition of Ibadanland.

“I commended our governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde for his unalloyed respect for traditional institution which made him to take a rightful step in the installation of the New Olubadan.

“Let me assure Governor Makinde that this decision has drawn more support from the people of Ibadanland to him as a person and the office that he currently occupy”.

As Oba Olakulehin ascended the throne, I prayed for the continuation for good health, strength, and wisdom, asking for his reign to bring peace, prosperity, and growth to our beloved Ibadanland.

She urged the people to maintain usual peace which he said has made all residents of the state irrespective of their race to feel at home in the ancient city of Ibadan.
