We have known Oba Adefunmi II for many years. Till his death, he was a great Yoruba cultural supporter and promoter. We knew him for his loyalty, tireless service and dedication to the Yoruba race and Africa at large.
Although we deeply feel his loss, it is comforting to recognize that Oba Adefunmi II impacted countless individuals and left a legacy that will inspire future generations in Oyotuni African Village and the entire South Caorlina, USA.. Despite his physical absence, his influence and impact continue to endure.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Royal family, friends, priests and priestesses, and all members of the traditional council, in USA and Nigeria that had the honour of knowing him.
May his legacy continue to shine, and his tireless commitment and valuable contributions to Yoruba cultural promotion bring solace in this trying period.
