At least 19 people have been killed after suspected Boko Haram terrorists planted Improvised Explosive Device (IED) and went off at Kawuri village in Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State of Northeastern Nigeria on Wednesday night.
According to the Konduga Local Government Authority, the bombing occurred at a local tea joint where the villagers gathered at night and 19 people died while many others were wounded.
Kawuri village is located 50 kilometers from Maiduguri, capital of Borno State.
As of time of filing this report, Borno State Government and Police have not made statements in regard to the incident.
