In his words, “It is an offence to carry activities of the camp and post on social media. The penalty is that such corps members will be decamped.
“Respect other people’s opinions and thoughts, cultures, values and norms of the communities where you are deployed to serve.”
General Ahmed who kicked against redeployment and relocation by serving corps members advised them to stay where they are deployed and create a path for themselves.
He also advised against frequent travelling by corps members.
“Obtain permission before you travel and don’t travel by night.
“Once it is 6pm, break your joinery and continue the following day.
“Never joke with your personal security. Always abide by the advice of the camp officials. NYSC will never post you to unsafe places and don’t put yourselves in unnecessary danger.
“You must listen and guard yourself against danger because your parents have invested heavily in you.
“Stay safe and do everything to remain safe.”
He also charged the corps members to guard against Cholera and remain clean at all times.
“You must remain clean. Ensure you wash your hands as much as possible. Avoid anything that will endanger your health.”
